Vera Majoor is a theatre maker, performer and director from The Netherlands. Currently based in London, their work centres the lesser-heard sides of stories, often found in the morally grey thoughts we tend to censor as imperfect human beings. Through absurdism, grim comedy and gentle confrontation, they seek to soften the judgement of their audiences and prepare them for a world in which thinking patterns are not set in stone.

Vera likes to lead in a collaborative environment, devising and performing theatre that is both physical and has a sense of musicality. They have worked on sets both in front of and behind the camera, and their organisational and technical skills have proven useful in theatre production teams. Vera is also a lighting designer and operator and plays the piano, guitar and alto saxophone.
