An interdisciplinary performance that investigates the concept of anonymity in public space. Using a combination of contact improvisation and mask work, the piece explores how anonymity affects the performers’ behaviours in day-to-day scenarios such as the reading of a newspaper on a park bench.
This performance was developed as part of the graduation work of artist Ilona Balaga for the MFA Sculpture at Slade School of Fine Art (London), and performed at the Bloomsbury Theatre (London).
